We are pleased to announce that Milton Arantes has been promoted to Senior UX/UI Designer! He will be leading our UX/UI projects and collaborating closely with our development team and creative director on websites, intranets, dashboards, internal apps and other exciting digital projects.
Prior to joining Knox Design Strategy, Milton worked with Incentient, Inc., designing bespoke digital solutions, including websites, mobile apps and internal communications apps, for clients in the luxury hospitality space. Milton collaborates directly with Knox Design Strategy clients from initial project kickoffs to wireframes and design prototypes, while working closely with our development team throughout the entire implementation process.
Milton brings an intense customer and user-focused perspective to Knox Design Strategy. With his background, he has learned that his job is to make sure people have positive user experiences. In order to do this, he puts himself in the user’s shoes while designing, ensuring that his solutions are not only visually attractive but also user-friendly. He has a unique talent for building products that not only look great but work seamlessly, making our client’s lives more efficient and more productive.
Milton describes his approach as “holding strong opinions lightly.” While clients may have forceful personalities and understand their markets better than anyone, Milton’s job is to use his own imagination and expertise to mentally recreate his client’s world and provide solutions, even when the client can’t articulate exactly what the challenges are. He knows that important answers are often hidden in project feedback or a client’s challenge to his design solution. Milton makes it his purpose to hear that response, openly and completely, integrate it into the project, and in the end, produce strong designs that do exactly what the client – and the client’s users – need.
Please join us in congratulating Milton on his promotion!
Fun Fact:
When Milton isn’t designing, he likes to play music with his friends and cook. He was New York State champion in 2009 with his High School marching band and plays guitar, drums, and saxophone. He is also, to this day, trying to learn how to cook better than his mom (which is not going too well!).
