Knox Design Strategy seeks a self-driven Sr. Digital Project Manager to join our collaborative team. As an integral part of Knox Design Strategy’s team, the Sr. Digital Project Manager’s responsibilities include:
Client management (35%), managing our studio’s workflow to ensure the big-picture view of how all projects (including some non-digital projects) are managed and how current workload, collectively and individually, impacts Knox Design Strategy and our budgets, resources, schedules, responsiveness, and client satisfaction.
Project and resource management (40%), including big picture and day-to-day budget and resource allocation and planning as well as schedule development and management for our branding and digital projects (websites, intranet sites, and other applications).
Operations (10%), supporting our studio’s overall short- and long-term operational goals and strategies by helping to ensure that our day-to-day processes are running smoothly and efficiently and that, operationally, we continue to grow and evolve to adapt to future studio and project needs and changes.
Marketing & business development support (15%), including the development of proposals, supporting negotiations, and building long-term relationships with our existing clients as well as supporting the Principal with new business development efforts, and managing marketing-related tasks.
As our Integrator, the right candidate will be Knox Design Strategy’s steady force, working closely with the Visionary (our Principal) and the collective team to remove obstacles and barriers. The right candidate will support Knox Design Strategy’s overall culture, values, and mission. We are looking for a full-time candidate to work in-office a minimum of three days per week at our NYC location. Some travel will be required.
Qualifications
3–5 years of relevant digital project management experience ideally within a creative studio
Experience planning, developing and managing timelines and budgets, and overseeing complex, long-term digital projects (ideally both intranets, websites, and custom applications)
Experience in agile/scrum and waterfall processes
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Strong multi-tasker, self-motivated, and an independent thinker
Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for interacting with people
Must understand the creative mind and love working with creatives
Graceful under pressure, yet comfortable with having tough conversations with clients, staff, strategic partners, and vendors
Versatility, flexibility, and getting things done quickly and accurately are critical requirements
Experience or interest in writing (particularly proposal writing)
Power-user of Asana (or comparable project management tool)
Salary
$80,000-100,000 based on experience.
