Knox Design Strategy welcomes UX/UI Designer, Sema Bekmez. Passionate about connecting with people to better understand usability needs and requirements, Sema leverages her background in Psychology to conduct user research and usability testing to provide positive digital experiences.
While creating individualized learning and behavior plans for children with special needs, Sema recognized society’s reliance on technology to perform important tasks, and thus the critical nature of ensuring a positive user experience. This lead Sema to a career change and after studying UX/UI, she went on to work with a startup on an e-learning website.
Sema – also an avid reader – has developed the UX/UI for several mobile apps, including one that allows bookworms to find personalized book recommendations, store their collections in virtual libraries and communicate with other readers.
Sema further expands Knox’s capabilities by bringing a unique perspective to human-centered communication. In addition to developing information architecture and UX/UI solutions for our clients, Sema will provide user researcher and usability testing for digital experiences including public-facing websites and more complex, content-rich internal applications and intranets.
In addition to reading, Sema enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking photos and drinking coffee. She is also fluent in Turkish and conversational in Korean.
Join us in welcoming Sema to the Knox Design Strategy team!
