Knox Design Strategy, an award-winning brand strategy, corporate communications, website design and digital strategy firm based in New York City, has achieved national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise, a designation awarded by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).
WBENC’s national certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. As a result, the WBENC certification is the most relied-upon certification of women-owned businesses and the organization advocates for women-owned businesses.
By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
Knox Design Strategy was launched by Brandie Knox in 2009. The firm, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year, focuses its efforts on professional services firms. A large portion of Knox Design Strategy’s clients are in the field of law, although the firm’s areas of concentration also includes healthcare as well as construction, architectural design and engineering. Brandie Knox and her team of strategists work with firms nationally and internationally.
Her firm’s certification comes on the heels of another professional accomplishment. Knox has been accepted into the SBA (Small Business Association) Emerging Leaders CEO Training Program, an intensive executive-level series intended to accelerate the growth of high-potential small businesses. Knox Design Strategy was 1 of 40 businesses accepted out of 219 applicants.
“We are very pleased to have completed the WBENC certification process,” said Brandie Knox, founder/principal of Knox Design Strategy. She continued, “We support the mission of the WBENC and all it does to advocate for women-owned enterprises.”
