Recently, the Knox Design Strategy Studio was visited by students from Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Athens Georgia. During the informal visit, Brandie Knox, Principal, and Mark Berkley, UX/UI Designer, shared their experience working in the design industry. Topics included networking, relationship building to find the right job opportunities and what to expect (which is the unexpected!) when making a move to a more urban environment (as Brandie hails from a small town in eastern NC). In the entrepreneurial spirit of specialization, Brandie also shared how she began her career in law firm marketing and how that has propelled her business and the work the firm does for professional services firms.
